F. Hinds jewellers has a long and proud family tradition. The Hinds family history in the Jewellery and Watchmaking industry started with Joseph Hinds in 1825 in Stamford, Lincolnshire. Aprentice son George moved to London as a watchmaker and in 1856 opened in Paddington, and then Edgware Rd in 1876. Over the next 50 years family members expanded the brand opening shops throughout the capital. The war years saw Hinds producing timers for ammunition. Post war saw the 5th generation of Hinds to enter the business with continued expansion within the family for the next 50years. Today there are over 100 stores across England & Wales situating F Hinds as the largest independent jeweller in the UK, with nearly 1000 staff serving over 2 million customers every year. However, the company's ethos has changed little in almost 150 years - to offer an extensive choice of jewellery, watches & gifts, along with the quality, value and level of service that you would expect from a family business.
